Audi iPhone Case

Ok, this is unrelated to the car but I had to show off my Audi case that I got for my new iPhone. Ofcourse the lock screen is audi as well!

Window Tint- June 16th, 2011

I finally got my car tinted thanks to my girlfriend. She was the one who paid for the tints and made it my early Birthday present. I got them done thursday and have been slacking on the blogging but today I finally had sometime to take pictures. I think it makes the car look 2x better.I went with 30% in the front and %15 in the back (almost went with 5% in the back but I wanted to keep it looking classy and also this way the 30% blends in with the 15% better.

 

I was driving over the overpass and saw that the moon was out so I had to snap a picture with the new iPhone

I found a nice little ally by my gym and snapped some pictures to show off the tint.

Swiss Front License Plate

So a lot of people like to put the German Euro plate on the front of their cars. But since I'm half Swiss I thought it would make more sense if I threw on a Swiss license plate for the front of my car. So luckily my Dad was able to supply me with two Swiss license plates, I decided to install the second one because it will match the S-line badges better. All I had to do was remove the old plate, drill some new holes in the Swiss plate and here are the pictures!

First Mod- Clear Sidemarkers

Took out the stock orange sidemarkers and replaced them with clear sidemarkers that I got from ECS Tuning. Chose the clear ones to match the clear blinker lights but now I'm thinking tinted ones might look better. I used instructions off of a forum.

Had to remove the two hex screws so that I could pop the first two hooks off the sidemarker from the inside. Then I used a long screwdriver to remove the clip at the end of the sidemarker.

Mount Diablo- 4/30/11

Took the Audi up Mount Diablo on Sunday afternoon. Although it was $10 to get into the park the drive was fantastic. The weather was awsome with barley any clouds and a lot of sunshine. For the most part the drivers ahead of me pulled over but I did have a couple who didn't pull over which was expected since were in America! It definetley was very annoying but luckily for one of the cars I was able to pass them safely on the left.


Unfortunately I couldn't get the picture I had envisioned (picture of the car with a nice background of the east bay) but I did snap a few and one of them turned out really nice.
